Saturday we headed to a baseball tournament for our babysitters son Ryan. Corinne was happy to see Linda, Ashley, Jack and Ryan and really liked playing at the park and walking up and down the bleachers. Ryan did really well but unfortunately they did not win the tournament. We also got to spend some time with Grandma and Pappy Miller. It is so fun now that Corinne is starting to recognize people by name and what she likes to do with them. Sunday we headed back to Lancaster and spent some time at Grandma and Grandpa Hunt's. Uncle Curt, Aunt Carrie, Uncle Hallie, and Dominic also stopped by to play for a little while. It was a good weekend and was pretty relaxing. Sunday night when we got home Corinne really wanted to try the big girl bed again but ultimately still slept in her crib. She really likes the bed though. (The sheets that are on the bed now are the ones we just throw on there Friday night when she was throwing a fit because I had not had a chance to wash the others. The sheets we got Friday were purple!)
Corinne in her big girl bed!
Monday we had a play date with Jack and Tiffany at our house and had a lot of fun. We talked about going to the park but the kids were having so much fun playing we just let me play. Corinne was force feeding Jack play food and it was so funny to watch! It was a fun time and Corinne is so excited to see her friends each week. We tried the big girl bed again but went back to the crib before bed.
Tuesday we had a play date at Carissa's house. The girls just spent the morning playing in the backyard having a good time. It was a little warmer then we thought it was going to be which is good!
Wednesday and Thursday were an experience for me because I had to leave Corinne over night for the first time. I have a retreat for work that I had to go too. Corinne went to the babysitters during the day and stayed with Daddy at night. Everything worked out fine and we made it through the two days but I was glad to be home.
Today we have cleaned most of the day and Corinne took a really good nap. Our friend Kerrie had her little girl Helena yesterday so we are going to make a trip to the hospital to see her in a little while. Pray for little Helena and her family as she has some complications that the family was aware of but she has already had to undergo one surgery.
