Having a hard time

Two Fridays ago we went to the zoo with Carissa, Hannah, Alexandra and cousin Dominic. It was really the only nice day of Spring Break so it was really nice to enjoy it with friends. Corinne once again chased goats around the petting zoo! We keep saying she is going to be a vet or a dentist when she grows up, she loves all things animals and teeth!

Waiting on her friends at the zoo!

Corinne is obsessed with the goats!

Last week it was back to work for Mommy and that was a hard switch for me. I always realize when I am home on breaks how much I miss on a daily basis. In an ideal work I would not mind working a couple days and week and being with Corinne the rest of the time. Time will tell if that will happen but I have to just enjoy every minute I have with her because she is growing so fast!

Saturday was a beautiful day and we had lots of things to get done! We went to see our babysitters son play baseball and Corinne loved running around at the ball fields. Then we were off to my preschool Walk and Roll Athon at IYOUWEE in Westerville. Corinne went crazy at the gym and was not afraid to try anything. I have a great picture from the day. After the Walk N Roll Athon we attempted to go to the Montgomery Inn that just opened in Dublin but that did not work out so well. Corinne was so tired from the morning she fell asleep in the car and then just could not handle the restaurant. We ended up having the food boxed up and went home. We spent the rest of the afternoon doing laundry and getting Daddy ready for his Phoenix trip.

Corinne loving the trampoline and Spring mat!

While we were getting Daddy ready for the trip Corinne decided she was going to try and go with Daddy. She had drop her Bink in the bag and just decided that she liked the bag herself!

Blowing Mommy kisses goodbye! (which she did on her own with no prompting)
Sunday was very long knowing that Jeremy had to leave by 3 to go to the airport. We drove to the airport and Corinne got every upset when Daddy left (so did Mommy of course). I tried to take our mind off of it by going to the store which worked until we pulled in the garage and Corinne started saying "Daddy?" when she saw Jeremy's car. It is going to be a long two weeks!
Today was back to work and it was another hard day. Corinne just does not get where Daddy is but we are talking to him every chance we get on the phone. The thing that stinks the most is knowing that after this two weeks we have to do it all over again in a month!

What a week

Well it has been an eventful week even though the weather has been so yucky. Tuesday we hosted play date at our house with Carissa and Hanna. The girls played with strollers and ate goldfish. Corinne had a very good time but she has been getting up so early this week she was passed out by 12:30 when I was trying to get lunch ready.

Corinne feel alseep after playdate
However, because she feel asleep in the high chair when I tried to move her up to her bed she woke up. Then it was after 3 before she would go back down. She was very pleasant as you can imagine.
Wednesday was not a good day. Corinne woke up by 6:30 again and was very fussy. When we went to get her out of her bed we noticed there was stuff in the bed. Corinne had gotten sick in her bed and that was only the start. The rest of the day consisted of Corinne screaming to eat then getting sick, and then repeat. She took a very long nap in the afternoon and seemed much better after that but did not eat much dinner. She went to bed at normal time and seems fine today.
The sun is finally shining today. Jeremy is off to his Fairmont, West Virginia tonight so it will just be Corinne and I. I have really enjoyed this time home with Corinne and I can not wait for the summer!

Easter and Birthday Parties

It has been another busy couple of weeks. Work has been very busy for me because I am right in the middle of the transition process for my kids who will we going to kindergarten. This means lots of meetings and paperwork but I will only have a few left after we go back to school from Spring Break. My Spring Break started Friday and I am so happy to have some time off with Corinne! It was a long haul between Christmas and Spring Break but the best news is when we go back there will only be 7 weeks left of school! Jeremy is settling into his new job and of course passed the required tests in just two weeks time. The next two weeks we will continue to work on training from his office and then will leave for Phoenix at the end of April for two weeks.

Last weekend was a very busy one for us. Jeremy turned 33 on Friday and I feel guilty but we really did not do anything for his birthday. Poor Jeremy knew last year when Dominic, our nephew, was born on his birthday that he was going to take a back seat for a while. On Saturday we headed to Lancaster for Dominic's first birthday party and had a blast. The kids played in Dominic's new ball pit and with some of is his new toys. Saturday night after Dominic party we headed to Grandma's, gave Corinne a bath and then hit the road for West Virginia. It was a long day but very fun and Corinne was a trooper.

Sunday morning we had breakfast with GeGe and Jeff and they gave Corinne her Easter presents, a dancing bunny and some very cute spring and summer outfits. Then we went back to Pappy and Grandma's to get ready for Madison's 4th birthday party. Jeremy's sister's family live way out in the country and we always see lots of neat things when we go to there house. Corinne loves to just run around the fields and have fun. We saw lots of horses this time and they even came over to say hi. It was such a beautiful day and a great party!

After the party we started the long trip home and Corinne slept most of the way. We took the scenic route home just because the ride on 70 gets a little old. It took us a little longer to get home but it was a beautiful day for a drive. We got Corinne to my parents again, gave her dinner and bath then headed home at nearly 9 o'clock. It was a long weekend but fun.

Last week was fairly uneventful with Jeremy in training again and me finishing my week at school. On Friday finally made it to my days off and was so excited! It was a yucky first day to be off but I had to get blood work done and get some shopping done so we braved the rain and went out. Corinne did not like the lab I had to go to, to get the blood draw and had a large fit while there but calmed down after we left. We then ran to Target, where all Easter Bunny's shop:) and got everything we need for the big weekend. Corinne was so tired that she feel asleep in the cart it was the saddest and funniest thing I have seen in a while. Of course when we got home though she did not want to take a nap! So we decided to just go to the store and of course she was talking to all the people at the store! Corinne had also been fighting a cold with a wet cough so I think she was just trying to stay awake!

Saturday we were suppose to go to Wheeling to celebrate Easter but since Corinne had a cold and so did Jeremy we decided it was best not to go. Jeremy's stepmom is having surgery on Tuesday and we did not want her to get anything plus it was going to be a lot to go out and back in one day. Instant we stayed here and did some much needed house cleaning and yard work. Corinne "helped" Daddy a lot with the mulch spreading. I was bummed when I was cleaning my spam box today and realized that I missed an invite to an Egg Hunt at our friends Jerri and Carl's house because of spam! Sorry Jerri and Carl!

Sunday morning we woke up and the Easter Bunny had been here! This year the Easter Bunny brought a Magna Doodle, Goldfish crackers and a toothbrush and toothpaste. I know it sounds weird but Corinne loves to brush her teeth so she was thrilled. She just kept saying teeth, teeth! We went to Lancaster to go to church with my parents and Corinne was very good in church. It was funny though because she kept saying Jesus, Jesus (at our church Jesus is up on the cross so I think she was just looking for that). We had a nice Easter dinner and then the kids got to do a Easter egg hunt. We decided to do it inside though since Dominic is not walking yet and it was pretty chilly. We also took turns putting on the bunny costume that someone gave us. Corinne loved it and Dominic hated it! Which is really a switch for these too! It was a really nice day and fun to watch the kids with all of the fun things.
